The Prime Minister of Georgia will hold high-level meetings with the EU leaders of the European Union. Such a statement made today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili, who is on a visit to Brussels.
“As it is known, the Prime Minister of Georgia is in Brussels on his first foreign visit. We will hold an Association Council with the EU. This is one of the main platforms of our bilateral relations, EU-Georgia.
The Association Council is multidimensional. We will start working within these discussions on how to strengthen and deepen our European integration. We will also talk about sectoral cooperation. The Prime Minister of Georgia, in addition to the Association Council, will hold high-level meetings with the leaders of the European Union, and in the format of bilateral meetings, there will also be talks about how our country, the Prime Minister of Georgia, his government plans the European integration process.
I think that there will be a very necessary and important meeting with the President of the European Council, the President of the European Parliament, several commissioners and Mr. Borrell. The visit of the Prime Minister is very important, which should bring a new and very strong impulse to our country on the path of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
As for the 9 points, this is, of course, a document, issues that were given to us by the European Union, we immediately started working on this issue. Our people know that very soon we developed an action plan with respect to the 9 points, which is the way to fulfill these 9 points”, - said Ilia Darchiashvili.
