The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, who pays his first visit to Brussels, met the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell.

The meeting was held ahead of the 8th meeting of the EU-Georgia Association Council.

Josep Borrell and the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi will hold a joint press conference following the meeting.

The meeting focused on Georgia’s EU accession path, political dialogue and reform, economic and sectoral cooperation, trade and trade-related matters, and peaceful conflict resolution.
