The 8th meeting of the EU-Georgia Association Council kicked off in Brussels. As it known, the Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze leads the Georgian delegation.

Before the sitting, he met the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell. The main topic of discussion is the European path of Georgia.

The meeting coincides with the tenth year since the signing of the association agreement between Georgia and the European Union, and the country is attending it with a new status. Announcements will be made after the Council meeting.
