Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Saha Sinha, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Georgia.

At the meeting, the relations between Georgia and India and prospects of future cooperation were discussed. Focus was made on the Indian Government"s decision to open a permanent diplomatic mission in Tbilisi, also underlining the importance of launching direct flights between Georgia and India. It was noted that these decisions will further promote the deepening of the relations between Georgia and India.

The Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador for India"s firm support of Georgia"s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
