Within the framework of the official visit, together with the Head of the Special Investigation Service, the first Deputy Head of the Special Investigation Service, Giorgi Kvaratskhelia, the Head of the Investigation Department, Nikoloz Darchashvili and the Head of the General Inspection, Giorgi Nozadze are also in the Republic of Armenia.
Heads of the Investigation Authorities of Georgia and the Republic of Armenia, within the framework of the official meeting, discussed the issues of the future cooperation between the two countries. For this reason, a memorandum of understanding between the RA Investigative Committee and the Special Investigation Service of Georgia was signed by Koka Katsitadze and Argishti Kyaramyan in Yerevan.
At the meeting, parties expressed their readiness to deepen and develop the existing cooperation between the law enforcement authorities of Georgia and Armenia. Katsitadze and Kyaramyan talked about reforms implemented in various investigative directions, projects focused on the protection of citizens’ rights and the importance of sharing information and experience within the framework of cooperation.
The Head of the Special Investigation Service thanked the representatives of the counterpart body for the invitation and expressed readiness for future cooperation.
