Zurab Adeishvili’s [wanted former Prosecutor General of Georgia] presence in Bundestag is extremely damaging to Western mood. Such a statement made today Mamuka Mdinaradze, leader of the parliamentary majority.
“The Government of Georgia is not going to enter into a diplomatic scandal. However, the presence of Zurab Adeishvili in German Bundestag is extremely damaging to Western mood.
I would like to call on everybody to take into account that Adeishvili sitting in Bundestag is the primary source of stirring anti-western and anti-European mood in Georgia”, - added Mamuka Mdinaradze.
The German Embassy in Georgia on Thursday [March 7] said that there was no reason based on the principles of the rule of law to ban Adeishvili from entering the German Parliament.
