Mikheil Sarjveladze was appointed as the Minister of Health. He was introduced by the Prime Minister of Georgia at a briefing held in the Government administration.
“During this one week we had individual consultations both with members of our political team and with representatives of the medical community. Based on consultations, I came to the conclusion that both medical representatives and other candidates could be considered for the post of minister. In the end, I gave preference to a member of our political team, whose professionalism and experience I trust. I would like to inform you that Mr. Mikheil Sarjveladze has been appointed as the Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Protection”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
Mikheil Sarjveladze replaced Zurab Azarashvili on the post.
