A large-scale voter information campaign regarding Electronic Elections (E-elections) is actively underway. This time, personnel from Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) got familiarized with voting technologies.
The CEC Chair made opening remarks during the meeting with employees of the GNERC. The Chair provided updates on the preparations for the parliamentary election scheduled for October 26, including technological advancements and ongoing administrative efforts.
Davit Narmania, Chair of Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission and its members attended the presentation of electronic devices.
The Chair of the GNERC expressed gratitude to the Central Election Commission for the aforementioned meeting. According to Davit Narmania, it’s significant that electoral voting technologies are modern and ease the electoral process.
Following the presentation regarding adoption of electronic voting technologies in Georgia, employees of the GNERC participated in mock election and tested verification and vote counting devices.
