European enlargement is crucial for the stability and prosperity of the EU. I am pleased to observe the progress made in Georgia. Such a statement made the Minister of European Affairs of Finland after the meeting with the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili in Helsinki.

“The reforms implemented contribute significantly to Georgia’s advancement towards Europe”, - said Anders Adlercreutz.

He affirmed Finland’s commitment to supporting Georgia’s journey towards European Union membership.

During his official visit to Finland, Ilia Darchiashvili held meetings with various Finnish officials, including the President, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of European Affairs, representatives of the Grand Committee of the Parliament, and the chair of the ruling party’s faction in the Finnish Parliament.
