The Chairman of Defence and Security Committee of the Parliament, highlighted the upcoming visit of the NATO Secretary General to Georgia by saying the development was a “manifestation” of the alliance’s “clear political support” for the country.
“Jens Stoltenberg’s visit is a manifestation of clear political support for our country, as well as a recognition of the success of Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration process.
This visit is critically important on the backdrop of a deteriorating security situation”, - said Irakli Beraia.
The NATO Secretary General will arrive in Tbilisi today, March 18. He will meet President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
