The draft law against LGBT propaganda will be introduced in the parliament this week. Such a statement made Mamuka Mdinaradze, Executive Secretary of the Georgian Dream.

“As you know, our opponents were interested in this and are still preparing to fight against the unregistered law. They were trained. The trainings were organized by Pride and funded by the United Nations Development Fund [UNDP], which Pride officials said was a workshop to counter Russian disinformation, while the UNDP said it funded trainings on minority rights.

In fact, the topic of conversation was a defense of pseudo-liberal propaganda, and journalists reported it from the start. We call on both the UNDP and other donor organizations to understand what they are actually funding.

This is in order not to confuse the rights of minorities with the harmful consequences of LGBT propaganda”, - said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
