The Prime Ministers of Georgia and the Republic of Armenia inaugurated the new building of Georgia’s Embassy in the Republic of Armenia.
Irakli Kobakhidze and Nikol Pashinyan were hosted by Giorgi Sharvashidze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Armenia.
The Georgian side procured the building in 2024. For the first time, the country has an embassy that belongs to Georgia in the Republic of Armenia. It is located in the city’s central section featuring other diplomatic missions. The new facility includes a reception for citizens and office and conference spaces.
The building’s design takes into account ethnic and cultural elements. The new building of the Georgian Embassy in the Republic of Armenia is the 15th facility of this kind to be owned by Georgia.
