It is impossible to describe the feeling of happiness and pride that yesterday we had and that united the whole country! Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“I congratulate all our citizens, immigrants, and most importantly, we congratulate our players on this victory! We can safely say that history was written yesterday!

I want to thank the players - members of our national team, who put their heart and soul into yesterday’s victory. Also the staff - led by French coach, whom we are proud of. Special thanks go to the leadership of the Football Federation.

The success we achieved yesterday had been prepared for years. I want to congratulate the veteran football players on the historic victory - they have been creating this victory over decades - I congratulate the heroes of May 13. I would like to congratulate the players of all generations of the national team on the victory - the contribution of each of them to this victory is special. The victory we created yesterday was brought by them”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
