The decision made by the Strasbourg court is very painful for Gvaramia - applying to the UN is a little trick, with which he tries to escape from the painful decision. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia, while commenting the decision of Nika Gvaramia [leader of the Akhali party] to apply the UN Human Rights Committee.
“The decision made by the Strasbourg court is very painful for Gvaramia. He once again attacked this particular European institution, which is called the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, and for him, appealing to the United Nations is a little trick, with which he tries to escape from the painful decision.
The public, of course, sees everything, and Gvaramia cannot escape the fact that the Strasbourg court actually found him guilty. Everyone already knows what crime he committed in a particular case. He knows his past crimes even better. Therefore, Gvaramia will not be able to avoid responsibility for these crimes with any tricks”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
