We are deeply concerned about the legislative initiative submitted to the Parliament of Georgia, which is based on last year’s “Foreign Agents” bill. Such a statement made the Spokesperson of the US Department of State, Matthew Miller.

"The draft law poses a threat to civil society organizations whose activities benefit the daily life of Georgian citizens in such areas as health care, education and social support. It undermines Georgia’s commitment to Euro-Atlantic integration and creates the risk of Georgia’s departure from the European path. We have clearly expressed this concern to the Government of Georgia”, - reads the statement.
