The Legal Issues Committee of the Georgian Parliament will review the draft Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence on 15 April.
The Bureau of the legislature discussed today new legal initiatives, including the mentioned Draft Law.
As the Vice-Speaker Giorgi Volski, presiding over the Bureau sitting, said, the parliamentary opposition submitted alternative Bills initiated in two legal packages.
At the Bureau, the opposition MPs expressed their position to subject the basic and alternative Drafts to the consideration of all Committees instead of the Legal Committee only. As the Parliamentary Secretary of the President, Giorgi Mskhiladze noted, the Draft by the Georgian Dream shall not be registered at the Bureau at all.
