The Chairman of the Georgian Dream met the German Ambassador to the country. Irakli Garibashvili and Peter Fischer discussed the deepening of the cooperation between the two countries across various sectors.

The meeting focused on the “friendly” relations and “positive” dynamics of the long-term partnership between Georgia and Germany.

Garibashvili thanked Fischer for his country’s support in granting Georgia the EU membership candidate status in 2023 and noted that Germany was a “friendly” country and a “reliable” partner of Georgia.

The meeting also focused on the current political situation in Georgia and the ongoing processes in the region.
