Strategic partnership and the further strengthening of political ties between Georgia and the United Kingdom were discussed in a meeting between the Chairman of the Georgian Dream and the British Ambassador to Georgia.

Irakli Garibashvili and Mark Clayton talked about the “successful” cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats within the framework of the strategic partnership and cooperation agreement between the two countries.

The parties noted the “important” contribution of the United Kingdom to the strengthening of state institutions and the democratic development in Georgia.

Garibashvili and Clayton reviewed the ongoing political processes in the country, as well as security matters and challenges in the region and globally.
