The Minister of Defense met with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Finland. The minister thanked the Finnish side for supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia, as well as the country’s European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

At the meeting, the parties talked about various directions of bilateral cooperation between the countries, including opportunities for deepening relations in the field of defense.

In addition, Irakli Chikovani hosted the National Defense Committee of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey.

The Minister discussed the importance of strategic cooperation between the countries with the delegation of the committee. Chikovani emphasized the firm political and practical support of the Republic of Turkey towards our country.
