The discussions in the first reading of the Draft Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence will continue today at the plenary session of the Parliament.
The Draft applies to the NGOs and media organizations with over 20% of annual income from foreign sources. Such organizations shall get registered in a respective Register of the Ministry of Justice and mandatorily submit the asset declaration once per annum.
The document establishes the administrative penalties for the violation of the hereof regulations and stipulates the registration procedures and the control mechanisms of the agencies that the NGOs shall get registered at.
