“In recent days, we once again saw a completely united Georgian nation, confident in its own choice, full of the spirit of fighting for freedom, and the whole civilized world standing by us.

The “Russian Law’ introduced by Georgian Dream is in contradiction with the Constitution of Georgia and also with the will of the Georgian people for Georgia to become a full member of the European Union and NATO, and the long-term goal of ensuring the sovereignty of our country.

The frightened Russian oligarch, Bidzina Ivanishvili, using an aggressive parliamentary group and a violent police unit, is trying to kill the European future of Georgia, which was opposed by a solidary, firm, strong and united Georgian society.

Although Georgian Dream adopted the Russian law in the first reading, the main battle is still ahead. We, the democratic, pro-Western political parties of Georgia, realize the importance of united efforts in this fight and declare full coordination and mobilization for the day of the 2nd reading of the law in order to do everything together with our people to save the country’s European future.

The people of Georgia were, are and will be the main guarantor of the European and Euro-Atlantic future of our country, and any attempt against this choice is doomed to inevitable collapse.
