President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow for a working visit at the invitation of Vladimir Putin, President of Russia.
At Moscow Vnukovo-2 International Airport, the head of state was welcomed by Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, and other officials.
During the meeting, the parties plan to consider the key issues of the further development of the Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership and allied relations, as well as to exchange opinions on current regional issues.
In addition, the leaders of the two countries will meet with veterans of the construction of the Baikal-Amur highway, the construction of which was supervised by Ilham Aliyev’s father, Heydar Aliyev.
