The Parliament of Georgia will keep the yellow security level today, April 29, based on the September 4, 2023, decree of the Speaker of legislature.

Visitors will be restricted from entering the Parliament. Invited persons and accredited journalists of TV stations will be permitted to attend the sittings.

“The imposed measures aim to ensure a peaceful and work environment in the parliament”, - says the statement of legislature.

It should be mentioned that a similar security regime was in effect on April 18 as well, in connection with the discussion of the “foreign transparency bill” at the Legal Issues Committee.
