It is time to stand together, to protect your choices, to evaluate your past life and struggle, to express your faith in tomorrow, to preserve what is dear and cherished to you, to express love and solidarity towards those with whom you are united by one word – homeland, writes the Chairman of Parliament on his Facebook page.
“Not so often, although several times in the recent history of Georgia, the time has come for the unity of the nation, and at each such time, Georgia has proven that it has dignity, that the bridge between the past and the future has not been broken, that the heart of the country continues to beat steadily.
We will be proud of standing together today, and we will tell our children that we stood where the country’s independence, its sovereignty, the Georgian state needed our presence.
Our people are dignified and wise, patiently and intelligently look at a thousand “well-wishers” and wait for their time, because they know that the truth is invincible.
The time has come for the kids of this country to stand together, feel this great moment and say - strength is in unity.
We will meet today, on Rustaveli Avenue, to take out the peace of our homeland, once again to protect Georgia.
Long live independent Georgia!”, - writes Shalva Papuashvili.
