Georgia would not be used for the interests of any other country - Kaladze

The Mayor of Tbilisi responds to comments of Giorgi Rukhadze [founder of the Center for Strategic Analysis], regarding potential revolutionary actions similar to the Maidan protests in Ukraine.

“To the enemies of this country, the ill-wishers, whoever they are, I want to tell them one thing: there will be no revolution in the country, there will be peace and tranquillity in the country, there will be economic development, which is important for every person living in this country, regardless their political views.

Georgia would not be used for the interests of any other country, we will prevent Georgia from experiencing turmoil similar to that in Ukraine”, - said Kakha Kaladze.

Giorgi Rukhadze had drawn parallels between the current situation in Georgia and the events leading to the Maidan protests in Ukraine in 2014. As he said, if the Georgian Dream acted against the will of the Georgian people, a Maidan-like scenario could unfold in the country.
