The spread information about the number of prisoners on a hunger strike is disinformation, aimed at misleading the public, wrote the Minister of Justice on his Facebook page.

“Directly or indirectly encouraging prisoners to go on hunger strike is a great harm. “The opposition and the media should not need to be reminded that human health and life are manipulated only by villains devoid of honor. Provocative, dirty and often inhuman methods of the opponents are not new for us.

They forget that with such actions they once again demonstrate the attitude of the united Bolshevik movement towards prisoners and human rights in general. The starting point of today’s Georgian state is a person and his rights. Accordingly, we will not allow our society to be deceived and its rights to be trampled!”, - writes Rati Bregadze.
