The Parliament adopted the Draft Organic Law on Municipal Code on the III reading.

As the reporter, the Majority MP Archil Gorduladze stated, the legal amendment assigns Tbilisi Municipality with the authority to grant the right to drive in the bus lines to the vehicles appurtenant to the municipal representative body – taxes (Category M1) and motorcycles and/or mopeds.

According to him, the amendment facilitates the safety of vehicles and transit and mitigation of car accidents and fatalities.

The legal package is adopted with 77 votes.
