Per the assessment of the Chair of the Defense and Security Committee, Alexander Tabatadze, the hearsay about the ordinance of the Prime Minister about the postponement of the conscription to the military service is forged and undermines the process of serving in the national military service, the defense capacity of Georgia and poses threats to the national security.

“The ordinance of the Prime Minister shall apply only to the individual cases that are under consideration by the Commission set up on the basis of the Defense Code. The hereof mechanisms have already been applied and now, this process is even more improved on the basis of the Defense Code – acquiring higher transparency and inclusiveness”, - he stated calling on to abstain from disseminating disinformation prejudicing the national interests.
