National Wine Agency to employ up to 100 young people in wine enterprises.

During the 2024 vintage, the National Wine Agency plans to hire up to 100 young people as operators in wine enterprises.

To be considered for employment as an operator, young people underwent interviews. Selected candidates then received special training from experts at the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture at the vintage coordination headquarters.

The country’s vintage registration program has been in operation since 2013. This program ensures the collection of accurate and comprehensive data on the grapes submitted, which is crucial for producing high-quality wine.

Some of the young employees already possess previous work experience in similar roles.

It is important to note that the projected grape harvest for 2024 is 300,000 tons. Over 500 wine enterprises will participate in grape processing throughout the harvest.
