Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Gareth Ward, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Georgia.

The conversation in the introductory meeting focused on the strategic partnership and prospects of future cooperation between Georgia and the UK.

The Head of Government thanked Gareth Ward for the United Kingdom’s firm support of Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and non-recognition policy, also wishing the diplomat success in his diplomatic mission.
