Irakli Kobakhidze meets the foreign ministers of the member states of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States

The Prime Minister of Georgia met with the foreign ministers of the member states of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States [OECS] visiting Tbilisi to discuss deepening relations with the Caribbean region and member states of the OECS in various fields.

The parties discussed possibilities of promoting cooperation in economy and trade, while also noting the existing potential for developing partnership in tourism and education.

Irakli Kobakhidze extended his gratitude to the foreign ministers for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia as well as the United Nations resolution on internally displaced persons from Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region.

The Head of the Government confirmed the readiness to share its successful experience in various fields with the OECS member states.
