The Georgian National Environment Agency has issued a warning regarding deteriorating weather conditions anticipated on Sunday and Monday [May 18 – 19].

Strong winds, heavy rains, thunderstorms, and hailstorms are forecast across most regions of Georgia from the 2nd half of the day on May 18 until the morning of May 19.

As the agency adds, the heavy rainfall could lead to the swelling of small rivers and trigger landsliding processes in mountainous areas, posing a medium-level threat.
