The Republic of Azerbaijan has declared its airspace closed over the occupied territories after the helicopter had been downed.  The Ministry of foreign affairs published special announcement. MFA underlines that member states of the İCAO are already notifies.

"The illegal intrusion of the military helicopter of Armenia into the airspace of Azerbaijan is a continuation of Armenia’s occupation and aggression against Azerbaijan and its policy of use of force against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan." –is underlined in the statement.
