One person detained on the fact of manufacturing and selling of a forged Georgian driver’s license

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained an individual on the fact of manufacturing and selling of an official document.

Investigation determined that the accused sold the forged Georgian driver"s license to a citizen for USD 700.

Investigation Service continues investigative actions in order to identify and expose other persons involved in the crime.

Investigation is underway under the second part of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which as a type and extent of sentence, envisages imprisonment from three to six years.
