The National Environmental Agency warns population about expected weather in Georgia in the coming days.

According to forecasters, rain is expected in western Georgia on September 30, and in eastern Georgia from the second half of September 30 to the first half of October 2, heavy rain is expected, with possible thunderstorms, hail and strong winds.

"The expected precipitation may cause a significant increase in water levels on rivers, flash floods on small rivers, initiation and activation of landslide-sandstorm processes in hilly and mountainous areas [danger level medium]", - reads the statement.
