The opposition’s new plan - Georgian Dream claims that the opposition, which has failed in all scenarios within the country, has changed tactics and is now starting active consultations and spending money in this direction to stop visa liberalization for the country.
According to the Speaker of the Parliament, opposition has become a weapon against the Georgian people, which is being used by external forces. Assessments have also been made in the opposition parties.
Giorgi Baramidze, political secretary of the “Unity - National Movement” party, confirms that the members of the “National Movement” were scattered abroad, although, at this stage, they are in Georgia.
“Just as the “National Movement” had a position regarding receiving candidate status, we still have the same position regarding visas.
Visa liberalization and visa-free regime should be maintained for Georgian society, for more than 99% of our citizens. With this position, we communicate with our Western friends. Work has been ongoing throughout this period and will continue in the future”, - said Giorgi Baramidze.
