Gaga Kirkitadze has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs

Police Colonel Gaga Kirkitadze has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili. The newly appointed Deputy Minister has many years of experience working in both the public and private sectors.

From 2025 to the present, Gaga Kirkitadze held the position of Deputy Head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. In 2018-2020, he headed the police departments of Tbilisi and Kvemo Kartli, and in 2020-2021, he served as the Director of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

At various times, he held leadership positions in both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defense.
