As of July 1 to July 31, 833 entities are registered in the Register of Farms and Rural Enterprises. Among them, 460 are natural persons, while 374 are legal entities. The total area of registered agricultural land amounts to 6,777 hectares.

The Register of Farms and Rural Enterprises is maintained by the Rural Development Agency. Its purpose is to create a unified database on farms and agribusinesses.

Registration in the register is one of the mandatory prerequisites for participation in the programs of the Rural Development Agency.

Registration in the Register of Farms and Rural Enterprises is possible at the Rural Development Agency both in Tbilisi (10a Devi Abashidze St., Tbilisi) and in the information-consultation centers operating in municipalities across the regions.
