The statement of the US Embassy is absolutely incomprehensible to me, especially against the backdrop that under the previous administration, the US Embassy was one of the main actors trying to artificially fuel hatred in Georgia. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

As he noted, it is the desire of the Georgian authorities to restore the strategic partnership with the US, and they will patiently await a reciprocal position from the American side.

“Regarding the statement of the US Embassy, it is absolutely incomprehensible to me. Especially against the backdrop that under the previous administration, the US Embassy was one of the main entities that tried to artificially fuel hatred and circulate falsehoods in Georgia. Therefore, this statement by the Embassy is incomprehensible to me. However, that is their business. We must do everything to prevent the spread of hatred within Georgian society. As for Georgia-US relations, we are in a waiting mode and continue to maintain optimism. It is our desire to restore the strategic partnership, and we will patiently await a reciprocal position from the American side”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
