Regarding the “Deep State” and the identity of the individual who called regarding entry into the war, they did not call about involvement in the war; a call was placed in the past at the time when [Giorgi] Gakharia’s dismissal from the post of Minister of Internal Affairs was planned. The Prime Minister of Georgia said this in Parliament.
As he noted, the demand to join the war was raised during a meeting.
“I would like to remind you that they did not call about involvement in the war. A call was placed in the past at the time when Gakharia’s dismissal from the post of Minister of Internal Affairs was planned. That was when the call occurred. As for joining the war, the demand to involve us in the war was presented during a meeting. It was not a call. It was a meeting that took place in Tbilisi; there were two such meetings, and I attended one of them. I can clarify that it was not a call”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
