Georgian wine tastings held across three US states

With the support of the National Wine Agency and organized by the agency's contractor company “Vinoveli Inc”, 15 Georgian wine tasting events were held in retail outlets and chain stores in the states of Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey.

Within the framework of each event, five Georgian wine varieties from three different companies were presented for tasting in the space designated for promotional wines.

The campaign aimed to promote Georgian wine, increase consumer interest, and strengthen the awareness and competitiveness of Georgian wine in the US market.

During the events, visitors tasted premium quality Georgian wines and received information about the 8,000-year-old heritage of Georgian wine, the diversity of local grape varieties, and the traditional technology of making wine in Qvevri.

The United States of America is one of the strategic markets for Georgian wine, where both quality requirements and the level of competition are high. In recent years, numerous marketing events implemented with the support of the National Wine Agency have significantly contributed to the growth of awareness and export of Georgian wine in the American market. The US market represents one of the highest-priced segments for Georgian wine, where the average export price of one liter of Georgian wine exceeds USD 6.
