Border Police detained one person wanted by Interpol Red Notice

The employees of the Operational – investigative Department of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, detained the citizen of the Russian Federation wanted by Interpol red notice.

At the request of French Law Enforcement Agencies, the detainee was wanted internationally under an Interpol red notice for committing a particularly series crime. As a result, of the investigation, Law Enforcement Officers, arrested the wanted person in Tbilisi.

Currently, extradition procedures provided by law are underway against the detainee.
