Speaker of the Georgian Parliament discussed the prospects of resetting relations between Georgia and the US, saying the Georgian Government was ready to open a new chapter in bilateral relations, which he said had been damaged by the Biden administration.

"The moment the US administration is ready for the next stage, we will be ready as well. We are not in a hurry. We have our positions. We are sincere in this friendship, while the previous administration acted in bad faith.

Anyone who wants to partner and engage with us in pursuit of these goals is welcome.

We do not force anyone, nor did we cling to Biden when he ended the strategic partnership. Everyone who wants friendship with us can see that we are a sincere partner. When the entire Europe hid from America in Afghanistan, while today the Baltic countries are beating their chests and talking about having sent ten or twenty people to Afghanistan, we had 1,000 soldiers there. So everyone knows that if America is looking for a partner, Georgians are among the most reliable and sincere partners.

We are satisfied with the dynamics, including the project known as "Trump Tower". When the US President seeks to project his name in this region that is also a message confirming this dynamic.

As for communication, you know that the Prime Minister had a phone conversation with the Secretary of State, and there is communication between the agencies. We are ready for closer relations.
