Mikheil Saakashvili spoke about threats from Russian side during an interview on Ukrainian TV Channel. Former President of Georgia says, that Putin’s last actions are suggesting that Russia is getting ready for new aggression in Ukraine.

Saakashvili also spoke about importance of reforms and stated, that first of all it is necessary to defeat corruption in the country.

“Putin made concrete steps, which suggest that he is getting ready for new aggression in Ukraine. On one hand there is an agreement on gas supplies to Ukraine. This is how he said to Europeans: - Do not worry, no matter what I will do in Ukraine, you will receive gas. On the other hand his planes are flying over Atlantic. And this is how he says, he can bomb Europeans using nuclear weapons. So he is preparing for attack and not only politically. For example, Russia moved tanks from Abkhazian separation line to Ukraine. Today Europeans understand that it is not only about Europe’s biggest country – Ukraine, but about the future of many countries of East Europe and whole Europe as well. If Putin wins here, everybody will see what is going to happen. Especially when he is threatening to use his nuclear weapons”, - said Saakashvili.
