NATO airplanes are starting to patrol airspace from Lithuanian base

 

NATO begins to patrol airspace of Baltic States. Canadian and Portuguese airplanes landed on a base in Lithuania. In case, if Russian planes will violate the airspace of NATO members, they will be ready for any kind of responsive activities.

At the same time, Secretary General of Alliance is planning to visit Baltic States.

Earlier Jens Stoltenberg was interviewed by news agency “Delphi”. He accused Russia of supplying separatists in Ukraine with weapons and escalation of conflict. Secretary of General of NATO said, that Russia must choose between implementing of peace agreement and complete isolation.
