EU calls on Turkey to back sanctions against Russia, despite the warming relationship between Ankara and Moscow. The announcement was made by Federica Mogherini, the EU foreign policy chief during her visit in Turkey.

The EU delegation visited Turkey after the official visit of Russian President.  During the the meetings in Turkey  Mr. Putin announced about the repeal of  of South Stream and establishment  an alternative route via Turkey.
