A "Day of Silence" called by President Petro Poroshenko is being held in eastern Ukraine. No gunshots are heard in Donetsk, where several hours ago was fight between the rebels and the governmental forces.

Petro Poroshenko declared that the army would hold the " Day of Silence" on December 9 and withdraw heavy weapons. The Separatists welcomed the announcement by Petro Poroshenko, but haven"t stated whether they are going to cease fire.

Meanwhile the  next round of Minsk talks is planned. Belarus still hasn"t received notifications from the participants.
