The Russian foreign minister meets with US Secretary of State.  Lavrov and Kerry  will discuss a  wide range of issues during the negotiations. The most important are  the  crisis in Ukraine, as well as the current situations in Syria and Palestine. It is expected that the meeting would be conducted in a tense situation, because the United States is preparing a bill toughening sanctions against Russia.

"The  Middle East is a very important subject. We must do everything to ensure that the situation does not get worse. I look forward to our discussion. It"s a problem we need to solve," - said the Russian minister.

Before meeting , the US Secretary of State also made a comment and said  that he welcomes the decision to hold the meeting.
