Rati Gachechiladze, son of the former opposition figure and presidential candidate Levan Gachechiladze, admitted the assault in his late-night Facebook post on January 7. 

“This was my reaction to the physical and moral abuse that my family and I have suffered in the last years from Gvaramia and not only from him,” he wrote.

Rati Gachechiladze also said that he was going to appear before the relevant body together with the lawyer.

"Obviously, I did not know about his father"s death. Today, together with the lawyer, I will go to the relevant departments," - wrote in the social network Rati Gachechiladze.
