US and EU ambassadors will closely follow investigation on Nika Gvaramia`s case. Diplomats condemn any kind of violence and expect from the government a relevant response.

The members of the majority also condemned the violence, however, they do not agree with the use of the law to full extent.form, the use of pre-trial detention as a preventive measure against Rati Gachechiladze is unacceptable for Eka Beselia and Mamuka Mdinaradze .

Opposition parties and non-governmental organizations request a transparent investigation of the attack. Politicians demand strict punishment forthe perpetrators of the attack at Rustavi 2 Director General of the attack and put the responsibilty for the incident on the government.

Nika Gvaramia was attacked by Levan Gachechiladze`s son, Rati Gachechiladze on January 7, when the Director General of Rustavi 2 was with friends in the restaurant. Witnesses saidby Gachechiladze did not carry out the attack alone.
